It may be winter elsewhere, but it’s always summer in Singapore! Aqua S brings two sunny flavours this February: sweet Creme Brulee and tangy Lemon Squash. Both will brighten your day, however you choose!

…or so they’d like you to think.

My companion and I are soft serve fiends so Aqua S’ appearance in Singapore has single-handedly forced us to go to Orchard every other week. We’re generally fond of their citrus flavours, so we were leaning towards Lemon Squash on this trip.

Upon taste testing, the Crème Brûlée isn’t as sweet as most burnt caramel flavours are, but is pretty straightforward and creamy, and would taste similarly anywhere else offering creme brulee. You might enjoy it better if you’re into their dessert flavours.

We decided on the Lemon Squash in a regular twist with the ever-reliable Seasalt flavour. The Lemon Squash isn’t more sour than the Lime, but certainly is sharper and more prominent (as are lemons versus limes). As is the case with most of their citrus flavours, there is a slight powdery aftertaste mitigated by the presence of the pronounced Seasalt.

All in all a pleasant flavour that goes well with the Seasalt as usual.
